Tips for Staging Your Home: Check Curb Appeal Reduce clutter Arrange furniture to allow for easy flow from room to room Make sure colors coordinate. Neutral colors are best, but do not paint everything white! Remove dark window treatments-let in the light! Be sure baseboards, window ledges, windows, cabinets and ceilings are clean and free of cobwebs Try to show how each room can be used-give each space a purpose. Remove family photos and very personal items (the buyer needs to see themselves in your home). Add plants, flowers and live fruit Don't forget to clean the windows! The extra light will work wonders! Roll up heavy area rugs to show off wood floors Inspect bathrooms to be sure they are squeaky clean! Invite me in I can give you a trained eye! |
